India - Eye Clinics
Since 2003, TPRF has regularly sponsored eye clinics throughout India in partnership with Premsagar Foundation, providing professional care to those who could not otherwise afford it. As of early 2010, over 42,000 people have been treated in a total of 22 clinics. Over 27,500 pairs of glasses have been given out; close to 33,000 people have received eye drops; and over 4,000 cataract cases have been indentified and referred for further medical assistance.

2010, February — Eye Clinics in Seven Cities Throughout India
The Prem Rawat Foundation (TPRF) gave US $25,000 to sponsor multi-day eye clinics in seven cities December 2009 through January 2010 that provided eye care free of charge to over 13,500 people in India.

2007, November – Jaipur and New Delhi
In 2007, two eye clinics, providing consultations and supplies to more than 3,400 people, were sponsored by the Foundation, one near New Delhi and the other in Jaipur.

2006, May – Jharkhand
In 2006, the Foundation sponsored a two-day eye clinic in the tribal area of Bantoli, Jharkhand, where certified optometrists and ophthalmologists donated their time and expertise to help some of the poorest in India.

2004, November – Chattarpur
The Foundation held a second eye clinic in Chattarpur, near New Delhi, in November of 2004, providing 7,200 free consultations and 4,300 free eyeglasses.
